XUE Jun

Jun Xue

Jun (Jeromy) XUE, is Managing Director of Tsinghua Science Park Venture Capital, the board member of Tsinghua Business Incubator, the assistant president of Tsinghua University Science Park. Prior to joining THSP, Jun Xue was a professional and entrepreneur in IT Industry. In 1990, he worked at China State Information Center. From 1991 to 1993, he was an Account Manager with IBM (China). In 1994, Mr. Xue co-founded An-Tai Corporation in Silicon Valley as President. Mr. Xue holds several board member positions of THSP VC portfolio hi-tech companies, such as Koretide (embedded software), Agate Logic (Semiconductor and IC design), TransVision Microsystems (Infrared Sensor), GigaDevice Semiconductors, Inc., etc. Mr. Xue holds a M.S. of Industrial and Systems Engineering from San Jose State University, a M. Eng. and a B.Eng. from School of Economics and Management of Tsinghua University.

WU PingDr. Ping Wu

Dr. Ping Wu is Chairman & CEO of Spreadtrum Communications, Inc.. With over 20 years of experience in SoC designs and exceptional management skills, Dr. Ping Wu brings outstanding expertise to his position as the Chairman & CEO of Spreadtrum Communications, Inc. Under his leadership, Spreadtrum developed world’s first TD-SCDMA baseband chip and world’s first fully integrated multimedia power management 2.5G GSM/GPRS baseband chip. Prior to Spreadtrum, Dr. Wu served as Senior Director of VLSI designs at Mobilink Telecom, Mixed Signal IC Designs manager at Trident Microsystems. Dr. Ping Wu obtained his BSEE degree from Tsinghua University, his MSEE and Ph.D. from China Aerospace Academy. He also holds three IC design patents in USA.

DENG Feng

Feng Deng is Founding Managing Director of Northern Light Venture Capital. Feng co-founded Northern Light Venture Capital in 2005, a China focused fund. He has more than 15 years of technical and managerial experience in the computer, communication and data networking industries. In 1997, Feng co-founded NetScreen Technologies, and served as the Vice President of Engineering, Chief Strategy Officer and Board member. NetScreen went public on NASDAQ in 2001 and was acquired by Juniper Networks in 2004 for $4 billion. From 2004 to 2005, Feng served as VP of Corp. Strategy at Juniper Networks. Feng was awarded the Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2002 and the Innovator of the Year award in 2003. Prior to founding NetScreen, Feng worked at Intel Corp. Feng holds a MS degree in computer engineering from the University of Southern California, a MS degree in electronic engineering from Tsinghua University, and a MBA from the Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania. He also holds five U.S. patents in computer system architecture and IC design. Feng serves as the Chairman of the Tsinghua Executive Entrepreneur Club (TEEC), serves on the Board of Directors of Hua Yuan Science and Technology Association (HYSTA), and is a board member of the Tsinghua University Foundation.

T. Chester Wang is the general partner and co-founder of Acorn Campus, a $100 million Incubator/venture fund, and a founding member of Acorn Angels. Dr. Wang graduated from Tsinghua University in Taiwan and later got his Ph.D. in physics from University of Oregon. He had been a college professor taught computer science, co-founded Pacific Rim Electronics, a wholesaler and distributor of semiconductor chips, also a co-founder of CMC, a software company for computer numerical machines. He and his brother, Stanley T. Wang another Tsinghua graduate, have been instrumental in developing numerous residential, commercial and industrial properties in Silicon Valley. He had co-chaired the New Realty Task Force with then Mayor Susan Hammer of San Jose, a city with over $1 billion annual budget and 6,000 employees, to re-engineering City's budgeting and operation. He currently serves on the board of Altigen Communications, Crown Bioscience, Autekbio, Eureka Therapeutics and Chinese Bible Society.
