      We are pleased to announce that a delegation from Tsinghua University is going to visit the bay area this upcoming Wednesday (June 11th). We will host a dinner reception for our guests:

Minutes of meeting THAA delegates

During the diner party welcoming delegates, Dr. Guo introduced recent improvement and near future plan of THAA.

First, Tsinghua Centennial in 2011 is under preparation. There are three goals for this event:

  • Participation
  • Concentrate
  • Develop

Secondly, THAA revised its bylaw recently. "Helping alumni development" has been amended this time.

There are several activities and engagement needs help from Alumni around the world.

  • United Tsinghua Alumni Organization of North America
  • Performance Tour of Tsinghua Student Dancing Group Oversea
  • Oversea Alumni Invitation Tour in Beijing
  • Scholarship fund for Alumni Community
  • Service for alumni from THAA office which has 40 staff member and 1000+ sq ft office space on campus
  • Alumni Children Summer Camp in 2009
  • Tsinghua People Magazine outreach to alumni
  • Alumni Yellowbook and directory at http://www.tsinghua.org.cn/
