Speaker Bio:

Dr. Jian Cai a Professor of Management Science and Engineering at College of Engineering of PKU. He is also jointly appointed as Doctoral Advisor at Guanghua School of Management. Dr. Cai is the
Executive Member of the Council, PKU Innovation Education and Research Institute (PIER). His research fields include innovation management, business performance management, and e-business. Dr. Cai teaches undergraduates, graduates and EMBAs on both business and engineering fields at PKU. He has led the research collaboration projects for the Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Commerce, Oracle, Hyperion, CCTV, and CNSF. He is serving as senior advisors for several largest companies in China, including Charoen Pokp Group (Zhengda) and Gome. Before joining PKU, he was a Member of R&D Staff and a WSI representative at SUN's JAVA Web Technology and Standard Group. Dr. Cai has published more than 20 papers in top journals and authored 5 books, including "From China Price to China Value". He has participated in the executive education program of Harvard Business School. He earned his Ph.D. and two masters degrees from University of Southern California.

蔡　剑　博士，北京大学创新研究院常务理事, 北京大学工学院管理科学与工程教授，光华管理学院博导, 北京大学工学院特聘研究员，管理科学与工程教授，北京大学光华管理学院博士生导师。研究领域包括创新管理，创新理论和方法，绩效管理，价值设计，互联网生产力。在北大讲授本科生，研究生，EMBA，和高层经理班的创新管理，企业绩效管理，电子商务，供应链管理等课程。曾负责与科技部，商务部，美国甲骨文，海波龙，CCTV，和国家自然科学基金会的合作研究项目。同时担任正大等国际企业集团的高级顾问。在加入北京大学之前，在美国硅谷任 SUN 集团 JAVA 网络技术和标准研发部研发骨干,国际商务网络服务共用组织 SUN 公司代表，同时负责完成了美国自然科学基金会和政府机构的多项科研项目。2002 年作为 SUN 集团六名博士之一获选未来领袖培养计划。蔡剑博士是"社会技术设计架构"理论和"价值金字塔"创新战略模型的提出者，已经发表数十篇国际期刊论文和会议论文。出版专著五部，包括《从中国价格到中国价值》。蔡剑博士完成哈佛商学院高层教育培训项目，于美国南加州大学获得博士学位和两个硕士学位，本科毕业于清华大学，曾当选清华大学学生代表大会主席。

Talk Abstract

The report of global research companies, like Gartner and IDC, has shown that China is the most preferred offshore destination, and the strongest challenger of India's IT leadership. As a pioneer entrepreneur in outsourcing industry, Mr. Ben Wang will elaborate the latest trends, the opportunities and challenges for China’s outsourcing companies in 2008.

Speaker Bio

Mr. Ben Wang is Founder, President and CEO of Beyondsoft. As a pioneer of software outsourcing in China, Mr. Wang has over the past decade built Beyondsoft into a leading outsourcing service provider that constantly strives to deliver a higher
level of customer satisfaction. Having invested heavily in human capital and service quality, Mr. Wang has overseen the company's rapid growth from a small-sized localization outfit to a global provider of quality ITO and BPO services.

Mr. Wang is a far-sighted entrepreneur with strong leadership skills and deep business acumen. Today Mr. Wang is recognized as an outsourcing pioneer by the hi-tech industry, the Chinese government and the investment community. He frequently speaks at industry and company events, and makes regular contributions to popular journals and websites.

Mr. Wang graduated from the Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (Now Beihang University) with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. He also holds an EMBA degree from the prestigious China Europe International Business
School.

Mr. Wang served as Member of the China Science and Finance Productivity Center, Deputy Director of Beijing Software Industry Community, and Executive member of Haidian Business Association. He also got a lot of awards such as:
